Roman Ch 6 - fr the Message

v. 16(?) 'You know well enough from your own experience that there are some acts of so-called freedom that destroy freedom.'

v/20-21 'As long as you did what you felt like doing, ignoring God, you didn't have to bother with right thinking or right living, or right anything for that matter. But do you call that a free life? What did you get out of it? Nothing you're proud of now. Where did it get you? A dead end.'

What a translation....! Amazing... God's word

The Five People You Meet in Heaven

so the five people are (and the things you learned):

1) the blue man: one u kill (nothing coincidence, things linked)
2) the Captain: boss (sacrifice, passing something on)
3) the park lady - introduce the father (u never know how hard he work)
4) the wife (how true love can last)
5) the little girl - the one u kill (the one who save?)

The story is inspiring. You may start thinking who the 5 people you are gong to meet when you are in Heaven perhaps..!? Nothing really matter but life is still going on to keep you awake and too precious to waste it..

The first half of the story I found it quite touching whereas the second half wasn't. Maybe I wasn't up to that stage yet..?!

Morrie is a better one, maybe that's the difference between true recording and novel.. ^_^

Evangelised by ... a Muslim..!

It happened in the Malaysia trip from last week...

I was visiting places shown on the tour map, the National Mosque was one of the icon on the map and I walked in there. Browsed inside the prayer room, I was introduced by a Muslim staff. I thought she would speak about the history and something about the building itself. Indeed she started talking about the faith as a Muslim...!

Several points she had made (as far as I could remember):
1. Muslim believe in the same God of us, 'there is no god but God'.
2. There are 5 important things in life as a Muslim.... (I forgot some point, things like going to Mecca was one of the thing)
3. There are only good deeds in Muslim which follower have to earn for life after. No bad deed but not doing bad things regard as a good deed.
4. Prayer is good for health, prostrate leads blood to the G-spot (G= God) and good for reaching God, bowing 90 degree is a good exercise of lower back...
5. Muslim believe in Jesus, as a prophet and the greatest prophet is Mohammad, which is the final messenger of Allah.
6. There is no original sin in Muslim as God already forgive what Adam did.

The presentation of the staff was quite throughout. Really a one-way indeed but she tried to keep it interesting and assume you will ask question like ' some people ask me to describe my God...' or 'People keep on comparing religion and would found out Muslim is the real one to the only god'...

All other religions are getting up to a standard that they need to get acceptance from the others. There are activities developed from Christianity such as hymns and literature study from Buddhism and now evangelical Muslim...

I was touched by the pure heart of the staff and her simple faith on her god. There are surely rooms for improvement to myself in my own faith to God!
